We developed a prototype for an IoT handgun safe designed to be kept under the bed, on the dresser, or in a similarly accessible position.

By connecting the IoT safe to the home security system, if an intruder alarm was triggered, the door to the safe would
unlock, open, and LED lighting would illuminate the firearm. This design allows homeowners to quickly arm themselves in
